According to Hughie in the movie, this song was composed by Les and Brian after Keith's death. Mick Jones is an original member of FOREIGNER, a British band since 70's, and a guitar player. He used to play for SPOOKY TOOTH. 02. All Over The World / STRANGE FRUIT (Written by Mick Jones, Marti Fredriksen, Chris Difford) SF plays this song in the end of the Dutch tour. At first audience saw the band at a distance, they got impressed by music and performance of the band and came and got excited in front of the stage finally. They play at the rehearsal after Karen visits JAM RECORDS. 03. What Might Have Been / Jimmy Nail (Written by Russ Ballard & Chris Difford) The only song which Ray lets Les sing for the reunion album. Brian's Theme (acoustic) / Steve Donnelly (Written by Clive Langer) You listen to the song at the scene Brian appears, a sad instrumental tune which describes delicate sensibility of Brian. Also for scenes "The game of a part of body", "Ray wanders on the street in the Netherlands" and "Ray takes a piece of drug by the canal". 05. Dirty Town / STRANGE FRUIT (Written by Jeff Lynne & Ian La Frenais) You listen to this song at the scene which describes improvement of the band to play at gigs in the Netherlands. Jeff Lynne (Vo/G) is the leader of ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA (ELO), a British band since 70's. 06. Ray always misses the glory, and he makes Hughie turn the sound up at a small place in the middle of a town in the Netherlands. The audience is booing of course. This track is the heaviest of SF materials (I think), and Ray composed it. 12. A Woman Like That / Bernie Marsden (by Jeff Lynne, Rosie Vela & Ian La Frenais) You listen to scenes of "Lady In Black follows Beano before the band gets on their tour bus to leave for the Netherlands" and "Beano leaves the press conference at Wisbech Rock Festival 1998 to escape from Lady In Black". Bernie Marsden is a guitar player who used to be for British bands like UFO and WHITESNAKE. 13. Dangerous Things / STRANGE FRUIT (Written by Clive Langer & Chris Difford) SF plays this song at Wisbech Rock Festival 1977 and 1998. In 1977 a thunder disturbed the band, and they had to stop playing. Then the band broke up. In 1998 a howling of mic. disturbed Ray to sing, they stop playing - so this song is an unpleasant memory for the band. Ray sings this song in an unstable musical interval at the 1st rehearsal for the reunion. 14. Brian's Theme (reprise) / Steve Donnelly (Written by Clive Langer) The reprise version of track 04 with an electric guitar in solemner way. The guitar sound for scenes "A shepherd boy listens to a song as track 1 of the album called TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD going down the hill in a flock of sheep" and "Dutch hitchhiker girls talk to the band in front of their tour bus which is out of order" is a different arrangement from this track. The track which you listen at the scene of "The band drink at a bar after the gig in the Netherlands" is not on this soundtrack. |
